It’s impossible to know what you’re eating when dining at restaurants. Cooking meals at home gives me more control because I’m the one shopping for the ingredients and I am the chef. When shopping for groceries I read food labels and do my best not to purchase products with long ingredient lists, preservatives or additives. Baked goods are the one item where it’s nearly impossible to avoid preservatives or additives.
